Digitalization of Corrosion Management

Prafull Sharma
Chief Technology Officer
CorrosionRADAR Ltd

Prafull Sharma brings vast industrial experience specially in digitalization of corrosion management on which there are several inventions to his credit. Prafull currently serves as Chief Technology Officer of UK based CorrosionRADAR Ltd that is bringing innovative corrosion monitoring technologies using Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). CorrosionRADAR invented a predictive CUI monitoring system that is gaining global traction addressing a big issue for the industry. Prior to his current role, Prafull worked for General Electric R&D where he developed several sensing and nondestructive testing technologies. Prafull acquired his PhD from Cranfield University UK. He has over 15 years of experience in industrial technology development specially for asset integrity and automation in the oil & gas industry. He is also credited with over 15 international patents and innovations.

Elaine Bowman
Project Manager
NACE International Institute IMPACT PLUS Program

Elaine Bowman is the Project Manager for the NACE International Institute IMPACT PLUS program released in December 2017. She is a Past President of NACE International, holding the distinction of being the only woman to have served as President of this organization. She has over 30 years’ experience in the specialty chemical industry related to oil and gas production. Her corrosion experience is in internal corrosion for pipeline systems.

Things to Keep in Mind

NACE International will require the following for any approved abstracts:

  • (OPTIONAL) Extended version of abstract that is no more than 3 pages OR a Full Paper of your topic. All formatting and content requirements are followed for extended abstracts/papers and presentations.
  • A PowerPoint presentation of your topic.
  • A video-recorded formal presentation of your topic. Total recording should be between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on the schedule of the event. Guidelines for recording to be provided.
  • All listed deadlines are met.
  • A signed copyright release agreement.
  • A brief biography and a photo.
