Manager of Engineering Standards and Practices - BP
Ms. Catriona Shepherd will provide her perspectives on standard and standardization in the Oil & Gas Industry, and its development, adoption, and use of industry consensus standards. Included in this presentation will be an outlining of the mission of International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) and the role that NACE may be able to play in writing standards to support this group.
As the manager of engineering standards and practices in BP, Catriona Shepherd is accountable for the development of standards used across the BP group. The role includes setting and implementing the vision and strategy for BP internal standards.
Catriona brings 25 years of industry experience starting with Technip in 1994. The majority of her career has been in project execution, working onshore and offshore in a variety of engineering and functional roles in Aberdeen, Houston and Rio de Janeiro.
