Growing Through Partnerships

Eric Anderson
Executive Director
SIMSA

Eric Anderson has been the Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Industrial and Mining Suppliers Association (SIMSA) for 3.5 years.  In that time, SIMSA’s membership has almost tripled, with the majority of this growth being attributable to partnerships.  In his presentation, Eric will discuss how partners were identified and the relationships developed.  Prior to his work with SIMSA, Eric was the Business Development Manager for the Flaman Group of Companies (Flaman Fitness, Flaman Trailers, Flaman Grain Cleaning, etc.).  Eric has also researched, created, voiced, and marketed “Prosperity Saskatchewan” for six years, which was a series of items focused on Saskatchewan’s resource sector.  The collection began as a syndicated radio commentary sponsored by PotashCorp and 49 North Resource Fund, and grew into a lecture series at the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan, a speaking career on Saskatchewan’s economy, and consulting on projects such as facilitating the development of the panels for the International Minerals Innovation Institute (IMII).  He has also managed Platinum selling recording artists and performed with Grammy nominated artists.
