This year's NACE Central Area Conference is hosted by the NACE San Antonio Section and will present papers on various methods of corrosion control, featuring unique educational presentations, forums, and new technologies on the exhibit hall floor. This will be your opportunity to learn about local corrosion issues from experienced local experts.

Letter from The Chair:

Make plans to attend the 2019 NACE Central Area Conference hosted by the San Antonio Section.

San Antonio was founded as a Spanish mission and colonial outpost in 1718 and today is the states' oldest municipality.  The city contains five 18th century Spanish missions including the Alamo.  Nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, area attractions include the historic River Walk, The Tower of Americas, Sea World, Six Flags, and is home to the five-time champion San Antonio Spurs.

The technical program will provide two tracks:  Cathodic Protection and Integrity and Other Corrosion Considerations and there will be content for all skill levels. Learn and network with fellow professionals in the industry to share best practices and on-the-job challenges. Plan to bring your engineers, managers and supervisors to show them what you do as a corrosion professional.

Our exhibitors will display the latest in corrosion control technology and products. Plus, the exhibit hall is where you'll have fun and network with old friends and meet new ones.

Mark your calendars for August 12-14, 2019.

On behalf of the San Antonio Section of NACE, we welcome you to San Antonio!
