Carboline is pleased to announce the release of Carbozinc 608 HB. Carbozinc 608 HB is the first 5-10 mil zinc primer on the market. More primer means more protection. It is highly surfacetolerant and quick to cure. Carbozinc 608 HB is a zinc-rich primer with excellent film build properties yielding a high zinc loading per square foot. When coupled with a micaceous iron oxide, MIO, flake-reinforced epoxy phenalkamine binder, the resultant film is an extremely durable and effective corrosion resistant coating. Due to these unique combinations of properties it can (in one coat) replace a zinc + (epoxy) intermediate coating of a standard 3-coat (zinc/epoxy/urethane) system. Carbozinc 608 HB will save application time and labor cost without sacrificing performance. It eliminates the need for an epoxy intermediate coat by providing a two-coat system that provides excellent protection.
ClampOn Corrosion under Insulation Detector

ProCoMeter
The ProCoMeter is a portable, battery operated device that measures the level of protection against corrosion being provided by an organic coating system by recording the current and voltage noise and from those parameters deriving the resistance noise (Rn). This (Rn) gives a numerical value at that point of time. By making several measurements over time this value can be utilised to determine the rate the coating is breaking down and hence indicate when a recoat will be necessary. To enhance the accuracy of the measurement, the ProCoMeter software can apply linear or polynomial detrend, brushing and spectral analysis. The ProCoMeter can be supplied with a potentiostat to measure small fluctuations in the current noise when a coated metal structure has a set potential applied. Disbondment is difficult to measure but research is underway. Special probes have been developed to enable the ProCoMeter to be used for field testing.
Pulsed Eddy Current Array
Eddyfi Technologies is proud to be the first to introduce pulsed eddy current array technology (PECA). Designed specifically to inspect for corrosion under insulation (CUI), the new, six-element PECA probe is capable of a single-pass coverage of 457 mm (18 in). This very wide coverage helps minimize setup and gridding times, enhancing the productivity of inspections by at least six times over typical single-element PEC. PECA provides a relative wall thickness measurement and still has all the great pulsed eddy current features users are accustomed to, such as in-service inspection capabilities through a wide range of coatings and weather jackets. Furthermore, it offers 100% wall thickness penetration, making it possible to detect inner and outer corrosion.

DUPLEX 318LN Screws & Sealing CUP Rivets - Corrosion is a serious threat to the industrial cost of business. The importance in using the correct quality of fasteners such as banding, screws, and/or blind rivets plays a decisive role. In the United States, stainless steel fittings are mainly used with AISI 410 martensitic stainless steel self-drilling screws paired with a conventional neoprene or EPDM washer. Due to the low PRE value 10-12, the occurrence of corrosion is significantly more probable. CoMic™ is a corrosion inhibitor detection technology, developed by LUX Assure, based on the propensity of many surfactant type corrosion inhibitors to form micelles. These nanoscale aggregates of chemical are detected to inform optimal dosing. The micelle detection reagents, one of the elements of CoMic™, are mixed with produced water samples by client personnel on-site to generate data on micelle content. This data is sent to LUX where specialists convert it to information on micelle content. The approach can be applied to a wide range of commercially available corrosion inhibitors.

Prepare the product within the given dimensions and requirements. Entries must fill a space no larger than 36” wide x 24” high x 16” deep. The maximum total weight per entry must not exceed 8 lbs. An actual product is preferred; however, a product photograph or informational board with easel may be substituted or displayed in conjunction with a product.
Your product will also be listed on the NACE CORROSION 2017 website. Please submit a 2” x 1” high resolution (300 dpi) photo of your product, product name and a short description (not to exceed 150 characters).
Each participating exhibitor is responsible for ensuring the display materials arrive in time for set-up.
Bring the product and a copy of the registration form to the set-up location. Set up will take place on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 1:00pm to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, March 27, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Exhibitors will place their product in your pre-assigned shelf location at that time.
Products may NOT be removed from the Product Showcase before the close of the show at 12 Noon on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Upon show closing, send a badge-wearing member of your staff to the Product Showcase to retrieve your entry. After 2:00 pm, any unclaimed products will be thrown away.
