C.M. Nelson, Vice-President of JA Electronics Manufacturing Co., is responsible for the engineering, design, and manufacturing of rectifiers, junction boxes, test stations, specialty equipment, and related corrosion materials. He has been involved with corrosion control and related fields since 1981, and rectifier design and manufacturing since 1985. He is a graduate of Texas A&M with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Day One
8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Safety concerns, rectifier fundamentals, troubleshooting, component breakdown, potential hazards of components, testing techniques for component troubleshooting, and “hands-on” testing of silicon diodes and modules.
Day Two
8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Review and open forum, field application and class participation in the application of learned techniques on simulated rectifiers and a wrap-up and close of the class material.
Students will also receive a Certificate of Training from JA Electronics
Additional: Along with course material and handouts, students will also receive a complimentary exhibit hall pass.
The class is first come first served and limited to 24 students.
This course is not part of NACE International’s Education course portfolio and does not lead to a NACE International Institute certification.
The CP 1 - Cathodic Protection Tester course provides both theoretical knowledge and practical techniques for testing and evaluating data to determine the effectiveness of both galvanic and impressed current CP systems and to gather design data.
This 5-day course is comprised of lectures and hands-on training, using equipment and instruments for CP testing.

If you cancel from 34 DAYS to 3 DAYS PRIOR to the conference you will receive a refund of 10%. NO REFUNDS will be given 3 DAYS or less prior to the conference.
