Sunita Khaund Bhuyan is a violinist and HR professional on Wellness, leadership and change through the medium of music and has 23 years of experience in the field across leading corporations / business schools globally. A mentor for  Wellness and Diversity at Syntel Incorporated and a consultant partner with KPMG Learning Academy some of the forums that Sunita has conducted workshops and master classes for are SHRM Conclave, TED Talks, VUCA for NHRDN, Learning and Development Roundtable Asia, Confederation of Indian Industries, Commonwealth HRICT, Asia Scotland Society Edinburgh, Gartner leadership forum NY , Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mum, XLRI Jamshedpur, ExpoWave by BNP Paribas, World Trade Center, Deloitte Human Capital Summit, KPMG Partners meet , India Today conclave, Indian Merchants chambers, Consular forum of India and a host of corporations across IT, Banking, financial services, Consulting, Telecom and others.

An MBA in Human Resources and a Master of Hindustani Music, she is a disciple of her mother violinist Minoti Khaund and maestro Padmabibhushan Pandit V. G. Jog. A recipient of the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini award for excellence she recently received the Woman of the Decade award from the WEF and the Woman of abundance award form Rotary International. A REX Karmaveer global awardee and fellow she is the ambassador of the South Asian Women's Fund , on women's rights. As a "Joy of giving" Ambassador for Don Bosco, she has received the blessings from His Holiness Pope Francis at the Vatican for her work on music therapy and was recently invited as a special guest for Mother Teresa's Canonisation .

As a concert musician, her album " Bihu Strings" by Times Music is the only album of folk on the violin in India and she is passionate about her collaborations in UK and Europe on inclusive world music.
